There were a lot of breathtaking views around me.


The massive green.


It was foggy in the morning often, making for great photo ops.


Rio is built on red clay. The roads and hills were deeply red.


I love it when roads disappear into jungle. These roads lead to trails, where we park and walk.


This and the next 2 pan shots were from the "Reintroduction site" where tamarins were moved after being captive-born. It essentially was someone's massive plantation with a nice chunk of forest contained within it.


That's a big tractor tire-rut which leads directly to the monkey digs. Watch out for cow poo.


This is one of my favorites.
