This is the old farmhouse that researchers stay in when they come to the reserve... and below, the road coming to the house (facing away).
There is a plethora of cool plants around the house. There's this big thing...
And a variety of fruit trees...
Jackfruit by the end of the driveway.
Mango out by the lab.
Pineapple in the backyard.
Avacado in the side yard.
And papaya in the front yard.
I really liked this weird tree for some reason. It was naturally rounded on the top, and quite large. It was pruned by nature.
And I liked this tree even more. This was along one of the trails near the gate. It was ridiculously tall with this little tuft on top. I'm digging this tree.
